Life is an art project. A creative, messy, colorful art project — so be chill and have fun with it.
This has been my mindset recently. And it means that life is like a canvas, so get messy and paint whatever you want.
It’s a bit trite, but still potent.
I also like to think that there’s more than one canvas (hence the art project vs. single canvas paradigm).
Your artistic style will shift. The tools you use will change. Your expertise and skillset will grow. Like an artist, your projects will evolve.
So I like to see life as one big art project — made up of many different projects and milestones, individually representing my skills and personality of that time. But collectively, they tell a bigger story.
Put another way, life is a creative act. Paint whatever you want.
When I think this way, life becomes more artistic, creative-focused and carefree. What about you?
