NEWS | Jake You Rebranding Announcement

Hello amazing people!

This letter is outside of my normal, weekly blast. But I’ve come to you with urgent news.

My website and brand name (Jake You) is changing.

I’m rebranding.

My new name is Jef Quin.

But Jef Quin is actually just my real name. So this whole rebrand thing is really more like a recalibration back to myself. I’m rebranding to a name that better represents who I am as an artist, a musician, a blogger and a traveler.

I’m rebranding to who I truly am — Jef Quin.

(although, I did get rid of a couple redundant letters…lol)

Why the Rebrand?

My reasons for this rebrand are pretty simple.

First, Jake You has proved to be confusing for people. And honestly, I never got used to being called Jake in emails and then having to correct people.

Second, I’m ready to embody my true self with confidence. I always struggled with self identity, artistic confidence and just being myself.

And while Jake You served its purpose, I’m ready to step into who I am more authentically.

This means I have some exciting stuff in the pipeline!

Other News

Besides this rebrand, I’ll be moving things around over the next few days/week to match this name change.

Namely, my website URL and social media accounts. But don’t worry, even if you visit jakeyou.com after the domain change, you’ll simply get redirected to jefquin.com.

I’m also working on some epic freebies! These will be ebooks and templates for starters. But I’ll also be launching a store sometime this year, so discounts and whathaveyou will also be included eventually.

Finally, I’ve started creating YouTube content more seriously.

For now, I’m just focusing on learning how to talk to a camera and trying to find my voice and which topics resonate with me and with people most.

So you can have a front row seat to that! Hopefully the growing pains aren’t too awkward for us lol

I’ll be uploading a new video everyday for at least the next 100 days. At that point, I should have my rhythm and content strategy more clearly defined.
